


Kate McGinley-Tolman, M.S., LPC, NCC
Owner- Changing Tides Therapy, LLC
Kate is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, as well as a Nationally Certified Counselor. She is trained at the graduate level with degrees in Psychology and Clinical and Counseling Psychology. She also has concentrations in Behavioral Neuroscience and Child/Adolescent Counseling.
Kate has worked with the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) since her undergraduate internships in the Intense Emotional and Behavioral Department. During her graduate program, she continued to work at CHOP as a research assistant in the Eating Disorder Lab while also seeing adolescents and their families in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. Kate has received specialized training in evidence-based approaches, such as- Family Based Treatment (FBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Remediation Therapy (CRT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Kate is currently working as a family therapist at CHOP in their "Shifting Perspectives" clinical trial for Anorexia Nervosa. Kate is a member of IAEDP (International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals) and believes full recovery from an eating disorder is possible.
In addition to Kate's working with eating disorders, she has received immense training in play therapy techniques. Kate has been working as an in-home clinician for years, focusing on attachment work, physical and sexual trauma, and helping families who are fostering or in the process of adoption.

Robin Hancock, M.S., LPC, NCC
Robin is a New Jersey Licensed Professional Counselor and a Nationally
Certified Counselor. Robin received her Masters of Science degree in Mental
Health Counseling from Monmouth University. She has over a decade of experience providing individual and family therapy to a diverse population of children, youth, their families and adults.
Robin has worked at AtlantiCare Acute Partial Care Program for adults as a
Mental Health Associate, CHOP’s Intensive Emotional and Behavioral
Program as a Clinical Specialist and The Thrive Network as an Intensive In-
Home Community Therapist and Outpatient Therapist.
Robin has completed extensive trainings in play therapy interventions
including Sandtray and Theraplay. Some of her expertise focuses on trauma-
informed play therapy/PTSD, depression, sexual abuse, crisis intervention,
family therapy, positive parenting, attachment, anxiety and stress
management, anger management, mindfulness and relaxation.
Robin firmly believes in the power of strength-based and client-centered
practices to ensure empowerment and promote the individual’s wellbeing.
